TRUMPET VOLUNTARY - AN INFORMAL HISTORY OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH BIRMINGHAM CHCs - 1974 - 2003

The publication is intended to provide an impression of what it has been like to be involved in an important statutory but voluntary body, working on behalf of patients and the public over the 29 years of the CHCs' existence. This is a 'trumpet blast' for the voluntary activity given by members from a wide range of backgrounds and our paid officers' assiduous work, often in trying circumstances.
